Margao, Nov 7: Robbers once again made feel to police of their existence and robbed Bandekar Digital and Imaging Studio-Margao, on Wednesday night, and decamped with cameras, flash, worth of Rs 1.70 lac and Rs 70,000 in cash

It is now usual that thieves without fear barge into the shops and business establishments, by banding the shutters and flee. But police in the State are not able to nab them, although they claim that night patrolling is intensified.

It is also strange that the thieves have made such type of attempts within the vicinity of chief minister Digamber Kamat's residence despite tight police patrolling in the area.

Shailesh Bandekar, owner of Bandekar Digital and Imaging Studio has lodged complaint in the Margao police station.

Police had pressed the sniffer dogs to find the clues, but they could not collect anything. Finger print experts were also called.

PSI Nilesh Dhaimodkar is investigating the case further under the guidance of senior officers.

Madgaonkars have expressed concern over rising incidents of robberies and have alleged that police are responsible for this, as they do not do their duty properly.
