Mangaluru, Oct 25: Kanchana Hyundai, dealers of Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), India’s second largest car manufacturer and largest passenger car exporter, opened a world-class showroom 'Kanchana Hyundai' at Suratkal, Tadanbail on Wednesday, October 24. This is Kanchana Hyundai’s ninth showroom.

Shivarama Krishnan, regional sales manager, Hyundai Motor India Limited inaugurated the showroom by cutting the ribbon while G J Patil, regional sales officer inaugurated the workshop. The spare part section and body shop was inaugurated by Raman and Sunil Doddamane of HMIL.

Prasad Raj Kanchan, managing director of Kanchana Hyundai expressed happiness on opening the firm’s 9th showroom at Suratkal. “We started our journey from Udupi and now we are spread across Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and North Karnataka. We are selling around 3,000 cars every year and servicing around 30,000 cars. We have a turnover of Rs 300 crore per annum. With the blessings and support of our beloved customers and staff we have achieved this growth. At this moment, I thank them all. We have plans to further expand and open more showrooms across the state,” he said.

The latest version of Santro car was launched at the event. Prasad handed over the keys to first three customers of the car.
