Bengaluru: Sabarimala Rath Yatra planned in Karnataka too

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 30: BJP's announcement about leading a Rath Yatra all over Kerala is being hotly debated. Even as controversy over this plan is refusing to die down, Ayyappa devotees in Karnataka have planned similar Rath Yatra in this state. The Yatra will be a month-long affair, sources stat end.

The Yatra will begin from the city on October 31. It will end on reaching Jamkhandi in Bagalkote district on December 20. On that day, a mega rally of devotee is planned at Jamkhandi.

The choice of Jamkhandi as the end point of the Yatra has raised several eyebrows as BJP is engaged in a battle for supremacy with the Congress in the bypoll being held there on November 3. While the critics have smelt politics in this plan, the organizers insist that they are apolitical. They say that the Yatra has been planned to spread awareness about the rituals associated with Lord Ayyappa shrine at Sabarimala.

All Karnataka Lord Ayyappa Swami Seva Sangha, Jamkhandi, is organizing this Yatra. The Yatra will begin from Lord Ayyappa temple at Jalahalli in the city, which has come to be recognized as the Sabarimala of Karnataka. Convener of the Yatra, Veeresh Kaladagi, stated that a number of Swamijis belonging to different Maths, film stars and others will take part in the Yatra.

He said that the Yatra will reach Hubballi, tour north Karnataka from there and then reach Jamkhandi where a four-day rally would be held from December 20 and 24.

For the early days of LK Advani's wheels of ' Rath yatra', BJP and Yatras have some unique bond when it comes to election seasons.
This time around BJP's Yatra is continuing coincides with 2019 Lok Sabha elections like the new season of 'Bigg Boss' God's have been swapped.
In the past they have collected bricks 'Ram temple', then 'Gau Matta', Baba Budangiri became Dutta Pitta now peaceful Sabarimala into another political snowball.

The party failed in all fronts, exposed by its nationalism in 'Rafale jet' scam, 'Pakoda' under new employment scheme, no data to show 'demonetization' success, the only way for BJP to exploit emotion using majority Hindus so much so that they will forget all the failures and vote for God's to save BJP.
These new rituals into Sabarimala Rath Yatra new wave of polarisation of vote bank to expand BJP's footstep in South India.

The events and protest which are happening today on the entry of Women's into Sabarimala temple , I want to mention a significant change which happened in Karnataka during 1996.

This event happened in Sandur Taluk of Bellary District. There is place called as Krauncha Giri . Located in the mountainous place surrounded by the Iron ore and Manganese ore mines. The place has two temples located besides each other .One Kumarswamy temple is dedicated to Karthikeya (Murugan) and beside this there is another temple dedicated to Parvati (Parvati temple). Both the temples were worshiped by local people and visitors. But men were allowed to enter both the temples. Where as ,women were not allowed to enter the Kumarswamy temple, they could visit the Parvati temple. . The entrance to the temple yard was same. But in front of the Kumarswamy temple a white metallic board was kept so that women cannot see the deity. This was going on for many years or may be ages. The local rulers -Ghorpades- were the main celebrants during the events & were well loved and respected by the locals,. During October 1996 M Y Ghorpade lifted the ban on women's entry into Kumaraswamy temple. After the ban was lifted, nearly 3,000 women have worshiped at the temple. Anybody visits the temple can see the old metal screen kept at one of the corners of the temple.

It is also mentioned that Ghorpade family had declared the temple open to Harijans as early as the 1930s.

The same progressiveness if the Pandalam royal family who claim rights and powers over the Lord Ayyappa shrine take then much of the problem will be solved. The politicians are making the agenda clear .

In Karnataka we have Datta Peeta- Bababunda Giri .It gets prominence once a year during November. Throughout the year both Hindu - Muslims pray at this place, take bath and drink water in the flowing water nearby. If politicians & local people have will they can sort out the issue. But vote bank politics, not allow this to happen !

Shabarimala Temple existed much before HonSupreme court started functioning
Traditions of Shabarimala existed before that too
Even after Republic of India was formed traditions continued
What changed is the Affidavit by Communist CPM govt in Kerela which was against the Traditions of Shabarimala temple
Still amazing is not putting review petition by Kerala Govt and instead arrested inncocent protestors
Now whole of India Swami Ayyappa devotees will unite to fight against the CPM Govt
Remember this is not against Supreme Court .This is against the Adamant CPM Govt in Kerala

. The BJP and the RSS in Kerala initially welcomed the Supreme Court order flip flopped and are now trying to exploit the volatile situation to disturb the Peace in the State. If they feel so strongly against the Supreme Court order, what prevents them from telling Modi or Amit Shah the Two Man Central Govt to issue an ordinance to suspend the Supreme Court order. The BJP/RSS will be well advised to suspend their agitation until the Supreme Court hears the review petitions in November and issues fresh orders.

The planned Yatra by the BJP/RSS in Karnataka is just a political stunt in view of the by polls and the ensuing general elections next year.

Having failed miserably on all fronts of Governance, the BJP/RSS is left with only using religon to polarise and indulge in Divisive Politics.

Did Kerala Chief Minister gave the Sabarimala verdict?
It has been given by the Supreme Court....
Why is BJP politicizing and framing Kerala CM has the culprit?
It is the state government’s duty to implement court’s order....

Bombay High Court gave a verdict in 2016, that women can enter Sanishwara temple in Maharashtra.

BJP or Modi did not utter a single word because BJP is ruling Maharashtra and implemented the verdict....If the verdict is not respected and implemented it’s serious offense..... Why did BJP quite in Maharashtra?

Kerala CM is just following the courts order.....

    He is not against Hindus....

Does Amith Shah or Modi has the courage to protest against Supreme Court....

All Hindus wants to enter God's house, i.e. Ayyappa Temple. Does Ayyappa reject any of His people coming to HIM?? Simply talking God/religion but actions against God/Religion!!! God will not punish those who bend down before HIM but definitely those who stop his people coming to HIM. Instead pray to HIM and demand Ruling Power to provide jobs, better housing, more investments, better health and so on.........

In the name of development they came to power. But after coming to power, the only thing which they do is diving people based on caste and religion.
leaders like Modi, Amit Shah takes administrative decisions and act like they are developing the country, take foolish decisions like demonetization, GST.,
Leaders like Shakshi Maharaj, H Raja., etc. who spread hatred among people through their speeches as instructed by top group.
And lastly, extremist party members who spread the actual hatred among people. They are active in social media, spread lies, spread fake information, perform mob lynching, create caste and religious riots.

100% sponsored, financed and patronized by the BJP in view of the fast approaching elections.
There are enough and more critical issues in Karnataka and no one is ever bothered about them.
How come all of a sudden so much love and devotion towards Swami Ayyappa in our state?
