Mangaluru, Oct 31: The athletic team of St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, here participated in VTU Single Zone Inter-Collegiate Athletic Meet 2018 held at SJCIT, Chikkaballapur from October 25 to 29.
The following awards were bagged by the team:
Brindan D’Souza of IV year E&E secured third place in 400 metres hurdles and third place in 400 metres
Melitta Sneha Lewis of III year CSE secured second place in 400 metres and third place in 800 metres

In VTU single zone inter-collegiate Best Physique Championship held on October 30 and 31 at GAT Bengaluru, in which the men’s Best Physique team of the college participated, K Karthik Shenoy of IV year Mechanical Engineering secured first place in above 65 kg category Best Physique Championship and also bagged the VTU Most Muscular Title-2018.
