New Delhi, Nov 2 (IANS): It was a misty morning in the national capital on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 16 degrees Celsius, a notch above season's average.
"There was also shallow fog in the morning. It will be partly cloudy through the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.
Air quality in the city and adjoining areas continued to remain "very poor", the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) said as the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 a.m was recorded at 368.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 94 per cent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 31 degrees Celsius, season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 16 degrees, at par with the season's average.
