Mangaluru, Nov 5: St Agnes P U College under the aegis of Kannada Sangha ‘Hanathe’ commemorated Kannada Rajyotsava with joy, vigour and pride.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, founder of ‘Kalkura Arts, well known as ‘Mangalorean Star’ was guest of honour. In his address he urged the young enthusiastic audience to treat every language equally and work hand in hand for preservation of our rich cultural and traditional heritage.

Students presented a cultural extravaganza depicting the rich cultural heritage of our state Karnataka which also included a video presentation that was very much appreciated.

The programme was graced by Prof G K Bhat, Sr Shamita AC, principal of the college, Sr Norine AC vice principal, Shailaja, Kannada lecturer and all the staff and students.

The programme was compered by Pooja Shetty and Pooja D, Diana welcomed the gathering and Ankitha expressed gratitude to all concerned for the success of the programme.
