Mangaluru: Expert PU College, Kodialbail holds Deepavali celebration

Mangaluru, Nov 15: Deepavali celebration was celebrated on November 10 at Kootakkala Auditorium, Kodialbail.

Dignitaries who presided over the programme were Mohan Pai, professor of Medicine, at KMC, Usha Mohan Pai, Rajendra Kumar, corporator and former deputy mayor, Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institution, Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice chairperson, Expert Group of Institution, Ankush N Nayak, director, Information Technology, Principal Prof Ramachandra Bhat and people from Sanidhya Residential School, Shakthinagar graced the occasion by their presence.

The programme began with lighting of lamp by dignitaries. Mohan Pai addressed the gathering and showered his blessings on all for bright future ahead.



“There is an eternal lamp inside that is known as Jnanachakshu, which will open your internal eye and show you the world,” said Mohan Pai.

“Let your life enlighten like a light of lamp,” said Rajendra Kumar.

Anushree and Sanskriti of I PUC spoke on importance of Deepavali.

Students of Sanidhya Residential School performed dance drama ‘Jenugoodu’.

Students of II PU performed ramp walk which was then followed by Dandiya performance by I PU students.

Winners were felicitated by Mohan Pai and Prof Ramachandra Bhat.

Pranal Lobo of II PU rendered the vote of thanks.

The programme was compered by Abdul Sadeed Hejamadi and Adril Vaz of I PU.
