Mangaluru, Nov 16: Arjun Kapikad starrer much awaited Tulu movie 'Karne' was released at Jyothi theatre here on Friday November 16.

Producer of ‘Rang’ movie Devdaas along with other dignitaries inaugurated the programme.

The film is directed by Sakshath Malpe and produced by Rakshith S Kotian and Rakshith H Salian. The movie also has leading Tulu actors such as Devdas Kapikad, Arvind Bolar, Bhojarj Vamanjoor, Gopinath Bhat, Vismaya Vinayak, Manju Rai, Sai Krishna and others.

Chirashree Anchan is the lead actress in this movie, which is based on Mogaveera community of the coast.

There are three songs penned by Devdas Kapikad, Vijayakumar Kodialbail and Sakshath Malpe. Raghu Dhanvanthri has rendered background score while Sudhakar Shetty has managed the camera work.

Arjun Kapikad, Chirashree Anchan, Manju Rai, Sai Krishna, Vijay Kumar Kodialbail and others were present during the release.
