Mangalore: Canara Bank Celebrates Founder's Day

Mangalore Nov 21: The founder's day was celebrated by the nationalized Canara Bank at its Dongerkery branch here on Wednesday November 19.

M M Kudva, deputy general manager of the Bank paid floral tributes to the statue of Ammembal Subbarao Pai at the branch office.

Speaking to the customers later, M M Kudva said that the bank, which started operations on first July of 1906,  has  grown as a reputed bank of the country and the timely  services being provided to the customers with a concern for them by dedicated staff of the bank since inception, has enabled it to reach the present eminent position.

The bank has also been successfully undertaking life insurance and mutual fund business, he added.

B V Pai, chief manager of the Founder's Branch and other employees were present on the occasion.
