Girl injured in Kashmir was hit by militant fire: Army


Srinagar, Nov 22 (IANS): The Army on Thursday maintained that a girl who was injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district was hit by militant fire.

"The girl was injured in Khudwani area in indiscriminate firing by the terrorists and not in the cross-firing between the army and the terrorists," Defence Ministry spokesman Col. Rajesh Kalia told IANS.

Militants had attacked the army camp in Khudwani area of Kulgam in the wee hours of Thursday.
