AIIMS, New Delhi donates one day salary towards Kerala flood relief funds


New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS): As Kerala struggles towards normalcy post devastating floods which left scores dead, AIIMS, New Delhi employees on Thursday donated their one-day salary towards Kerala Flood Relief Fund.

The employees at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), new Delhi including faculty members, residents, nurses and officers collected Rs 1.77 crores.

The check was handed over to Kerala minister A.C Moideen by AIIMS DElhi Director Randeep Guleria.

"It will take a lot of time, efforts and resources and support, small and big, from one and all, to rebuild Kerala,

"AIIMS, New Delhi solicit itsfull support in thie effort and is ready to extend all support," said a statement from AIIMS.
