Mangaluru, Nov 24: A case stands registered in Kadri police station in the city, alleging that a Swamiji had tried to sexually abuse a lady by promising to give her opportunity to act in films.
Small screen actor, Kavya Acharya, has filed this complaint against Dayananda Guru Nanjeshwara Swamiji. Kavya has complained against a total of five persons including the above Swamiji.
As per Kavya's statement, the Swamiji had promised Kavya Acharya, who was in Thirthahalli then, of providing her an opportunity to act in films. Kavya said that instead of taking her to Bengaluru, the Swamiji had asked her to come to Hotel Tajmahal at Hampanakatta, Mangaluru. She said that the Swamiji tried to commit sexual atrocity on her.
Kadri police, who have registered the case, are investigating.
