Formaldehyde that is used to preserve dead bodies and ammonia that is generally used as fertilizer in agriculture are among the chemicals locals allege are used in fish that is currently available in the market.

According to a 1997 report by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, when formaldehyde is present in the air at levels exceeding 0.1 ppm, some individuals may experience adverse effects such as watery eyes; burning sensations in the eyes, nose, and throat; coughing; wheezing; nausea; and skin irritation. Some people are very sensitive to formaldehyde, whereas others have no reaction to the same level of exposure.
In 1987, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) established a Federal standard that reduced the amount of formaldehyde to which workers can be exposed over an 8-hour workday from 3 ppm to 1 ppm. In May 1992, the standard was amended, and the formaldehyde exposure limit was further reduced to 0.75 ppm.
But in BJP ruled Goa 'Formaldehyde ' fed to humans through fish which causes cancer. The Goa Chief Minister who is already in the advanced stage of 'Pancreatic cancer', how does his government will allow feeding Cancer to the Goans?
    1. Will this BJP delegation of fishermen, MLAs, and MP to visit Goa will only find restore the ban without considering the safety of the citizens of India?
    2. Why the PM Modi's Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies not intervening to guarantee the food safety by preventing food adulteration?
    3. Who and how does the food certification will provided to the consumers?
