Bengaluru: Masses and leaders pay teary farewell to departed Rebel Star Ambareesh

Bengaluru, Nov 26: Thousands of fans, well-wishers, colleagues and those who got guidance and help from M H Ambareesh converged on his native place, Mandya, to bid final farewell to the departed stalwart.

The mortal remains of the actor were taken to HAL airport from Kanteerava Stadium Bengaluru at 3.45 pm, from where they were airlifted to Mandya by an army helicopter. A huge crowd awaited the arrival of the body at Mandya.

Hundreds of leading personalities connected with film industry, politics, social service, literary sector and others made a beeline to share their grief with the family of Ambareesh. The grief is very deep for countless people for whom Ambareesh was not less than god as far as providing them guidance and extending timely help during their time of crisis are concerned.

Superstar Rajinikanth, mega star Chiranjeevi, veteran Telugu actor, Mohan Babu, Tamil actor, Sharat Kumar, senior actresses like Suhasini, Radhika, Ambika, Revathi and others had the last glimpse of Ambareesh's mortal remains. Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu became quite emotional and were seen wailing loudly.

Former chief minister, D V Sadananda Gowda, ministers, D K Shivakumar, Sa Ra Mahesh and R V Deshpande, assembly speaker, K R Ramesh Kumar, former ministers, G Janardhan Reddy, M B Patil and H K Patil were among those who were present. Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, personally supervised all arrangements at Bengaluru.

Artistes, Prakash Rai, Arjun Sarja, Rajesh, Leelavathi, Jayanthi and Sudharani, actors, Shivaraj Kumar, Puneet Rajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Yash, Sudeep, Dhurv Sarja, Dr Nirmalanandanatha Swamihi of Adichunghangiri Math and other dignitaries were there to bid adieu to the great artiste and human being.

Fan ends life: Thammaiah (52), son of Chikkamogayya from Hottegowdanadoddi village in Mandya taluk ended his life by laying across railway tracks on Sunday. Thammiah, who was said to have become devastated at the death of favourite actor, ended his life when no one was around. A photo of the actor could be seen beside his mutilated body on the railway tracks.

    WE FEEL THAT WE MISS THEM FOREVER,
    BUT THIS WORLD IS FULL OF SORROWS AND DIFFICULTIES, NO MATTER HE IS RICH OR POOR
    BUT IN DEATH THE PERSON GOES TO A PLACE WHERE THERE IS NO SORROW NO PAIN.
    THEREFORE THERE IS NO POINT IN CRYING,BECAUSE HIS TUFF TIME IS OVER

    I NEVER EVER SAID TO CRY,,,,,,BUT AT LEAST COULD MAINTAIN SILENCE AND DIGNITY IN FRONT OF HIS BODY PROCESSION INSTEAD POSING FOR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS IT SHOWS TRUE ABHIMANA OF THEM.....WE HAVE SEEN DURING VISHNU VARDHAN AND DR RAJ KUMAR ABIMANA OF GHATTA PEOPLE...

    not only he is politician and actor, he is a very good person. He helped many divorcing couple to reconsile. He had love towards poeple of Karnataka.
