Will bring Private Member Bill for Ram temple construction: Manoj Tiwari

New Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS): BJP MP Manoj Tiwari on Tuesday said that he would bring a Private Member Bill in Parliament for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Tiwari made the statement after a delegation of over 25 Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders led by Bachan Singh met him at his residence here and gave him a memorandum for the temple construction.

"I just received a memorandum from the VHP delegation. And I want to assure them that I will raise the issue in Parliament and in my party," Tiwari told the media here.

Asked if he would bring a Private Member Bill , he replied, "If required I will be the first person to bring a Private Member Bill in Parliament for the construction of the Ram temple."

The MP said that he was shocked to learn that the matter of Ram temple has been pending for over 490 years, since 1528.

"The matter of Ram temple has been pending in court since 1950. And as the court is extending the matter and delaying the construction, we have submitted our memorandum to Tiwariji to raise the issue in Parliament," Singh said.

I am interested to know who has kept record since 490 years and where is the proof? Looks like politicians can say anything just before elections to divert peoples’ mind away from developmental issues and keep them busy with temple and status business.

Political shadow boxing to keep the issue alive before the general elections. The BJP will not be left with any issue if the Temple is built until they rake up other such issues.

I do not understand, why BJP just before election of 2019 are creating such a big noise about Ram Mandir. Last 4years 7 monnths, they slept on this issue.

The Shia muslim board have given their approval and if BJP leaders really want to settle it quietly, they can do so, by having meeting with others muslim leaders too. All local Ayodya people are very supportive for once for all, final settlement of Ram Mandir. BJP/RSS have politicised religion to their selfish end.
After Sardar Patel statue, now nobody talks about it,;which BJP knows very will. That is why, BJP are dragging Ram Mandir issue for diverting people's mind, for their own failures.
