JD-U leader survives attack in Srinagar


Srinagar, Nov 28 (IANS): A Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader survived an attack on him here on Wednesday.

Police said Sajad Ahmad was on his way to attend a party meeting when militants fired at his car in Hawal area of Srinagar.

"He escaped unhurt. Searches were started in the area after the attack," a police officer said.
