Minors are involved in drugs, rape and what not?
All the criminals/rapist should be punished severely without any discrimination considering three are minors. In crime all of them were partners and should be subject to equal punishment to all of them.

I wont be surprised if these Chaddis come out in protest and gherao the police station stating the accused are innocent. Sambit Patra will go on Times Now and say HINDU khatre main hai. If they can take a protest after raping a 6 year old Asia in temple then anything is possible in this banana republic.

Maximum punishment a minor gets is 2 years for any offence in a correctional School...its more like a hostel than prison....

India need to change its laws about minors...especially nowadays when minors behave like demons/Saitans ...I personally believe parents are more responsible for this than minors...instead of watching TV and gossiping they should teach moral values to their kids...

    ...Tak...Takk...

Well said, Langur. There will be lot of fake minors...if law is lenient for minors...in case of minors, parents should be given the punishment...

If minors know to rape a girl, he is equally able to take the punishment.. If he can rape means he is no more minor or juvenile..
    Punish them.
Tomorrow they won't lag behind to rape the girls of their own family.

If minors can do such gruesome act, why not punish them like adult criminals?
also the age records may be fake.. even Afroz, the most brutal and inhuman among all in Nirbhaya case also came up with minor card and escaped death penalty

Minores should be punished harsh and in the same manner as majore
Or the minores will think that they can escape from law and do the crime
    Punish all very severely

Common Thousif! Grow up! In nirbhaya case all are sentenced to death except the minor and Rajesh gave an example of how a minor can escape from these and the name he mentioned was right. But you with your cheap mentality started comparing with the names just because of religion. Stop it! Now it's Mangalore, I just don't want my city to be in news because of these events. No matter what, all these culprits need to be punished mercilessly irrespective of religion. I also hope no lawyers will come in defense of these culprits. Love Mangalore forever :)

In nirbhaya case the law prior to the crime was like that only. No provisions allowed a minor to be treated as adult.
Criminal law cannot be altered with retrospect effect.
