Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru(DC)

Bengaluru, Nov 29: Former chief minister and BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa met minister D K Shivakumar here on Wednesday, November 28 here.

Yeddyurappa was accompanied by his son B Y Raghavendra and another BJP leader Halappa. The meeting of two prominent leaders from two different parties has indeed given rise to lot of speculation.

However, some of the media reports say that the BJP leaders met the Congress minister to discuss about building Singandur Bridge.

Speaking to reporters before the meet, Yeddyurappa said that he was going to meet D K Shivakumar and discuss about several irrigation projects and other issues of Shivamogga.

After the meeting, Yeddyurappa said that political statements are confined only to Assembly and they are good friends since long time.

Shivakumar said that there is no politics when it comes to development and he met Yeddyurappa relating to development matters. “When Yeddyurappa was chief minister, he also had helped me in various matters. I was supposed to go to Hyderabad. Yet I made time to meet Yeddyurappa,” he said.

Yeddyurappa must have realised that neither Modi nor Amit Shah with all the Gujju Business men at their beck and call could not make him the CM even if the Governor gave him 15 days to cobble up a majority. Even the reddys from Bellary have lost their teeth in politics.

With his galloping age past 70 and the BJP having commenced their search for his successor, may be a photo ops with Shiv Kumar may put pressure on his party to abaondon their plans to replace him.

Now one ex Chief Minister, who was the pioneer in bringing BJP government in Karanataka, all of a sudden became idiot. Same case like Advaniji,, the man who toiled day and night, given a good brand name to the new party, BJP, all of a sudden was cornered.
