Mangaluru, Dec 1: Students Day St Agnes College (autonomous) was celebrated on November 29 on the college grounds.
The theme was Retro versus Metro and the students showcased their talents in a talent show programme based on this theme.
The day began with a short programme by the college cabinet where they danced for both old and modern numbers. The principal then delivered a message to the students and said that Students Day is one of the programmes where they get an opportunity to shine. She spoke about the theme and encouraged them to give their best. Soon after this began a classwise talent show programme.
Another highlight of the programme was the games and bike show by Suzuki.
A staff programme (teaching and non-teaching) was held by the staff members who entertained the students with a short skit, spot game, dance and a retro fashion show.
The students enjoyed the programme by the staff members.
The programme came to an end with a mass dance.
