Gulshan Devaiah admires Manoj for authenticity he lends to roles

Mumbai, Dec 4 (IANS): Actor Gulshan Devaiah, who is teaming up with Manoj Bajpayee for the first time in 'Hinterland', says he admires the way the senior actor lends authenticity to any character he plays.

"When I heard the script, I loved it and found it really interesting as well as challenging. It's going to be an exciting journey shooting for the same. I have watched Manoj sir's work and really admire him for the authenticity he lends to every character he plays," said Gulshan Devaiah.

"He is a phenomenal actor and has been a big inspiration for me," Gulshan said in a statement.

Gulshan especially remembers watching 'Satya' and Manoj's performance as Bhiku Mhatre gave him hope. "I started to believe that I too can succeed as a professional actor. I'm really glad and excited to have the opportunity of working with him. He is one of the most important actors of the last 25 years," said Gulshan.

Produced by Honey Trehan and Abhishek Chaubey, who have assisted National Award-winning filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj in the past, 'Hinterland' will go on floors next year.
