Vyas quits as advisor to J&K Governor


Jammu, Dec 12 (IANS): B.B. Vyas on Wednesday resigned as advisor to the Jammu and Kashmir Governor after his appointment as a member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Government sources said Vyas submitted his resignation to Governor Satya Pal Malik. Vyas was one of four advisors to Malik.

Before taking over as advisor, Vyas was the Chief Secretary of the state.
