Mangaluru: Nitte Education trust invites applications for 'Dr NSAM Best School Award - 2018'

Mangaluru, Dec 12: With the objective of recognizing the good work done by rural schools in all spheres of education resulting in excellence, NITTE (Deemed to be University) and Nitte Education Trust seek applications for the Dr NSAM Best School Award – 2018 from eligible schools.

The awards will be given to two rural Kannada medium high schools of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod Districts. The selection will be based on achievements in SSLC Board Examinations, sports, cultural activities, infrastructure and innovative practices.

The first prize will consists of Rs 15 lac and a plaque, the second prize consists of Rs 10 lac and a plaque. The selection committee would be headed by Justice N Santhosh Hegde, former Lokayukta of Karnataka.

The applications can be downloaded from www.nitte.edu.in or had from the office of DDPI and should reach the University on or before December 22, 2018 on the following address:
