BJP MPs meet, pay homage to Vajpayee


New Delhi, Dec 13 (IANS): The BJP Parliamentary Party met here on Thursday and paid tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former Union Minister Ananth Kumar.

The meeting, attended among others by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and party veteran L.K. Advani, decided to celebrate Vajpayee's anniversary on December 25 on a large scale.

BJP sources said no discussion was held on the outcome of the Assembly polls in five states.

The BJP is holding a review meeting at its headquarters here over the election results. Modi, Shah, several union Ministers, party office bearers, state Presidents and those in-charge of the five states would attend.

In the recently concluded Assembly polls in five states, the BJP was ousted from power in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
