Bharat Bhushan Vyas joins UPSC as member


New Delhi, Dec 13 (IANS): Senior IAS officer Bharat Bhushan Vyas on Thursday took oath as a Member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Before this, Vyas, a 1986 batch officer, was serving as an Adviser to the Jammu and Kashmir Governor.

The Oath of Office and Secrecy was administered to Vyas by UPSC Chairman Arvind Saxena.

Born in 1957, Vyas had done B.Sc. (Botany). He served in Jammu and Kashmir and the Centre in various capacities and retired as Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir.
