Two Bengal men held with fake currency


Kolkata, Dec 13 (IANS): Based on prior information, two persons from West Bengal's Nadia district have been arrested for carrying fake 500 rupee notes amounting to Rs 1 lakh, police said on Thursday.

Ahmad Dar, 60, and Asraf Seikh, 30, were spotted in Java bazar near the Bangladesh border. They were caught on Wednesday, a police official said.
