Mangaluru, Dec 14: “Pro society works are possible only with the growth of youth power. Evening colleges play an important role in them,” said Bantwal Mooda Government Pre university college principal, Professor Yousuf. He spoke as chief guest on 52nd anniversary of St Aloysius evening Pre University College.
St Aloysius educational institute Fr Dionysius Vas S J said that when students having hunger in the stomach and hunger for knowledge become educated, there will be social uniformity. “The evening college thrives to impart value based education to ensure that young people do not become victims of vices.”
College principal Fr Mewyn Mendonca S J presented the annual report of the college. Finance manager Fr John Lang Bosco S J, evening college convener Dr Pradeep M were present. Anniversay programme convener Alwyn D’Souza welcomed everyone. Professor Paul D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Students Monica and Namitha compered the programme.
