Chandrudu, I am coming! Owaisi’s warning to Chandrababu Naidu viral in Andhra

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (IT): After the AIMIM won seven of the eight seats it contested in the Telangana assembly polls, a video of party chief Asasuddin Owaisi purportedly referring to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as 'Chandrudu', has gone viral on the internet.

In the video, Owaisi says with a smile, "Aur Mr Chandrudu, tumhare ko bhool gaya tha main. (Mr Chandrudu, I had just forgot about you.) Chandrudu, I am coming to Andhra Pradesh. Taiyyar ho jao. (Get ready)."

In the recently concluded Telangana elections, Owaisi has managed to retain his hold in the traditional bastion of the Old City of Hyderabad.

Basking in the success, Owaisi was seen making fun of Chandrababu Naidu and warning him of facing him soon.

All the seven sitting MLAs, including Owaisi's brother Akbaruddin Owaisi, were re-elected in Telangana in the December 7 elections, in which Naidu's TDP turned out to be a disaster with only 2 seats in its kitty.

MIM won in seven assembly constituencies for the first time in 2009 and repeated the feat in 2014.

Akbaruddin Owaisi, the star campaigner for the party, registered an emphatic win in Chandrayangutta seat, his fifth in a row since 1999, with a margin of 80,263 votes.
