Udupi: Inaugural of Brahmavar Christian Helpline on Dec 14

Udupi, Dec 12: The Christian Helpline, Brahmavar, will be inaugurated at S M S Community hall, near here, at 10.30 am on Sunday December 14, said John L Lewis, president, Christian Helpline.

Speaking to media persons at the press meet held here on Wednesday December 10, Lewis said that the programme will be presided over by Richard Rebello, retired professor, Kallianpur Milagres College. Manipal entrepreneur Vincent V Pinto will be the chief guest on the occasion. Veteran lawyer Shirtady William Pinto will deliver the keynote address.

Episcopal vicar Fr Baptist Menezes, Brahmavar St Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Cathedral vicar general Fr Ramban G M Scaria, Malpe Ebenezer CSI church pastor Fr Bukart Berty Ammanna, Udupi United Basel Mission chairman Fr Jeevan Prasad, Udupi deanery vicar vara Fr Mathew Vaz, Kallianpur deanery vicar vara Fr Marcel Saldanha, Shirva deanery vicar vara Fr Richard Coelho, Karkala deanery vicar vara Fr John A Barboza, and Kundapur deanery vicar vara Fr Alban D’Souza, will also grace the occasion.

Christian Helpline vice-presidents Raviprakash Gonsalves and Albert Monteiro, general secretary Glen Monis, joint secretaries Jaison Lewis and Antony Roche, general secretary Cyprian Rodrigues, organizing secretaries Ronald Manohar, Eric Lewis, Christine D'Silva, Santhosh Suares, and Paul Crasta, were present at the press conference.
