Gehlot sworn in as Rajasthan CM, Pilot Deputy CM


Jaipur, Dec 17 (IANS): Congress leader Ashok Gehlot was sworn in on Monday as the 12th Chief Minister of Rajasthan, while the party's state president Sachin Pilot took oath as his deputy at a ceremony here.

It is Gehlot's third innings as Chief Minister.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Nationalist Congress Party's chief Sharad Pawar were some of those who attended the ceremony in Albert Hall.



Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje was also present at the event.

    that is good decision of high command of congress to select two CMs for the rajasthan.. because their joint efforts will give maximum number of MPs elected for congress in next 2019 general election.

    If Pilot or Scindia are made the CMs, they are young blood and wont listen to the 50 year old Yuva Neta.
    They will create a space of their own and overtake the yuva neta in popularity and be a good PM candidate over a period of time . Hence Chota Pilot was sidelined. Only an old guy like Ghelot will dance to the tune of Mr, bean of india. The logic is so simple.
