Mangalore: Jane Dsouza’s Collection of Stamps on Christmas

Mangalore, Dec 15: Dakshina Kannada Philatelic & Numismatic Association organized an exhibition of Jane Dsouza’s exclusive collection of stamps on Christmas on  14 December 2008 at the GPO Mangalore.


















The 400 odd stamp collection has the earliest stamps dated 1957-58  and comprises of images of the Crib, the Magi, Christmas Tree, Christmas Candles, Angels, Santa Claus, Snowman, Snow covered streets, Christmas Carols, Shepherds, Christmas Star, Christmas Flower Poinsettia, Holly, Christmas Decorations, stockings, gifts etc.

Jane is the vice-President of the Association and also is a cookery, gardening and bonsai enthusiast. She has two cookery books to her credit, has conducted cookery classes and TV programs and recently  held an exhibition cum sale of bonsai.
