Udupi, Dec 23: Canute Mathias, well known in Konkani music industry, as the 'Sangeeth Kunwar' is all set to present his musical nite - Canute Mathias Live in Concert' which is scheduled for December 24 at 8.15 pm soon after the Christmas Mass at Mukamar (Santhurkopla) Church Grounds.

The musical extravaganza has been arranged to aid funding for Mukamar Church CCTV camera facility which has been made mandatory now-a-days for the church premises and two LED screens inside the church. The event has been organised by the parish council of Mukamar Church along with ICYM under the able guidance of parish priest Fr Louis D'Sa.

The musical extravaganza will start at 8.15 pm with a variety of Christmas carols followed by Konkani old/new and few bollywood songs. MC Franky Mendonca, well-known for his versatile talents, will host the entire event along with well-known writer Anil D'Souza Pernal.

During the event, new Konkani music album - Udevn Yevnchim Taram' of Canute Mathias will be released by Ln Wilson Rodrigues, Udupi Zilla Panchayat member, David D'Souza, president of Mudarangady Grama Panchayat, Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld.com and Baila Boom Fame musician/singer/movie producer Maxim Periera Angelore.

Album 'Udevn Yevnchim Taram' is an effort to showcase new singing talents in Konkani music industry. Music for this wonderfully themed album has been arranged by well-known music composer/arranger of Konkani music industry Roshan D'Souza Angelore who has attracted new and old generations with his spectacular talent in composing/arranging music in vast varieties. The vocals have been recorded in G-studios, Sandesha, CAD Media, Daijiworld studio of Mangaluru and Sianna Studio of Sharjah. The project has been presented under 'Glorious Angelore Productions' banner by Maxim Periera Angelore and the recordings in Sharjah have been ably guided to perfection by well-known musician, proprietor of 'Sweet Melodies Music' Arun Carlo of Sharjah.

The album has been sponsored by Urban Sequeira and family of United Resources, Sharjah and co-sponsored by Wivel and family of Family Caterers, Mangaluru, Ln Ezak Mathias MJF of Mayumi Palace, Ashok Sandhya D'Souza of Dubai and Steevan Felcita Rego of Qatar.
