Patna Zoo closed after 6 peacocks die


Patna, Dec 25 (IANS): Six peacocks died under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday in the Patna Zoo forcing authorities to shut down the facility for the next five days, officials said.

According to an official of the Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan the six national birds suddenly died prompting the closure -- a precautionary measure.

A probe was underway.
