Mangalore, Dec 18: It was an embarrassing incident for the young couple who got stuck inside a commercial complex on K S Road on Thursday December 18. However, it turned out to be an amusing event for the mob which gathered here after coming to know that the duo was stuck inside.

According to sources, the couple, said to be north Indians, were sitting on the stairs inside the complex located near Hotel Poonja International, from the afternoon. The branch manager of a nationalized bank locked in the complex, on his way home, locked not just the doors of the bank, but also the main entry to the complex.

The manager closed the doors around 8 pm and unfortunately, he did not notice the pair as there was no electricity. No one knows what they were doing inside the commercial complex till this late at night. But, eventually they started shouting for help to get them out of the place.

A huge mob gathered in front of the commercial complex within a few minutes with the curiosity of many being triggered. Police personnel from Bunder station rushed to the spot and had a hard time clearing the amused crowd.

The drama came to an end after the bank manager was called back to the spot and reopened the main door of the commercial complex. Police provided security to the couple to shield them from further embarrassment, the people, and the media.

Fortunately, the issue ended in a light-hearted manner. But on a more serious note, it is worth pondering what might have been if any anti-social elements had remained inside the commercial complex when the bank manager closed the doors.

This is one serious issue. First of all because of some fanatic groups its been difficult for any couple to ram freely in beaches or theaters. Of course what would these poor people do than find some place like this building to spend quality time together .
