20 kg landmine recovered in Jharkhand


Ranchi, Dec 27 (IANS): Security personnel recovered a 20 kg landmine in Jharkhand's Godda district on Thursday, police said.

It had been planted in Ghutipara village in Godda district, around 500 km from here.

The bomb was defused by the Anti Bomb Disposal unit of the state.

According to police, the Maoists had planned to target the security forces.
