Israeli music artiste titles single 'Chicken masala'


New Delhi, Dec 28 (IANS): The latest song Israeli music artiste Hod Moshonov, aks Bemet, has an Indian connect -- through chicken masala.

Titled "Chicken masala", the song is about the Indian dish and about the similarity of the Indian and the Middle Eastern culture.

Bemet said in a statement to IANS: "India for me is the land of mystery and it has extreme wonders. I never know what to expect and which kind of adventure will hit me touring this country.

"After 2 years of playing in India, I can say it is my second home and I have expressed that in 'Chicken masala', which is a first of its kind Bollywood music video, telling a story about the illusion after getting high eating the famous Indian dish Chicken Masala."

The song's video, featuring actress-singer Sara Gurpal, was shot in locations in Punjab.

Bemet will close 2018 with a show at the Sunburn Festival 2018 India, where he will launch "Chicken masala".
