Bengaluru: BJP’s shock to LS ticket aspirants - seven sitting MPs may be axed

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jan 2: BJP has begun preparations for Lok Sabha (LS) election in right earnest. During the evaluation exercise it began from the grass root level, the party has found that seven sitting members of parliament (MP) are not eligible to get ticket for the Lok Sabha election again.

As per information, the party does not want to continue with Lok Sabha members, who, instead of seeing a surge in their popularity supported by the radiance of the central government's achievements particularly in the fields of highways, defence and railways, have seen a fall in their public standing and popularity. It is said that out of the seven BJP members of parliament who are likely to be dropped, four are from north Karnataka and three from the south.

State BJP president Yeddyurappa

The party wants to improve the creditability of the party by drawing its candidates not only from organisations affiliated to it, but also from retired IAS and IPS officers, chartered accountants etc.

Sources say that there is not good opinion among the people about an MP from Old Mysuru region. The MP has not done anything significant other than trying to improve his own image by claiming achievements of the central government as his own. In case of two constituencies in coastal Karnataka, the candidates might be replaced. One of them has been demanding for change in constituency, it is said. Sources expect a clearer picture to emerge after the next week's national executive meeting.

Among four constituencies in north Karnataka where the party wants to field new faces, people and workers are unhappy with the MPs in two constituencies. In another constituency in Mumbai Karnataka region, local leaders are up in arms against the MP. They want change in the candidature. Although the other MP in the same area has goodwill of the people, unless young faces are given a chance, there is fear that the party might permanently lose its hold on this constancy.

The party is aware that it should have solid reason to drop the existing candidate, and there should be a capable and popular candidate to replace the current one. If professional politicians are to be considered, their past should be clean. On the other hand, retired professionals like IAS, IPS officers can be considered. Caste calculations, candidate who would most likely be fielded by the other parties, will also have a bearing on finalising the names of the candidates, sources added.

By denying tickets to the sitting MP's of the party, BJP has officially acknowledged that promised 'Good Governance' is failed.
But BJP is which promised 'corruption free India' is no were to cleanse itself. Former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa who is on bail from jail in denotification is mining kickbacks is still their party president in Karnataka.
The country would have wished for the PM to answer on the 10 promises he had made as follows:

    1. Didn’t the PM promise to bring back black money from abroad within 100 days and deposit Rs 15 lakhs in the account of each Indian?
    2. Didn’t the PM promise to create 10 Crore or 100 million jobs in five years? Has he been able to create even one million?
    3. Didn’t the PM promise farmers a neat profit over their cost? But leave an alone profit, have the farmers got even their cost covered?
    4. Didn’t the PM promise to simplify trade? But he has merely managed to make it more complicated?
    5. Didn’t Demonetisationhurt the common man while ensuring ‘aish’ ( comfortable time) and ‘cash’ to the rich?
    6. Didn’t the PM compromise with national security and failed to prevent the killing of civilians and security personnel in Maoist violence and in J &K? Haven’t 428 security personnel been killed in J &K?
    7. If the Prime Minister is so confident that nothing wrong had happened in the Rafale deal, why is he shying away from a probe by a Joint Parliamentary Committee in which NDA members would be in a majority?
    8. Why is aviation fuel cheaper than the fuel used by the common man in their vehicles?
    9. Has the Ganga been cleaned? Even the Central Pollution Control Board has reported that at 38 of the 39 spots it checked, Ganga remained as dirty as ever.
    10. How many of the 100 smart cities promised by the PM have come up?

The nation wanted to now from Karnataka unit of BJP to answer.

Actually right from 1989, BJP is continuously getting a minimum of 17 seats out of 28 in state.
They bettered this in 2004 by bagging 21 seats. Also last time in 2014, two were lost narrowly (less than 5000 margin)

In BJp, there is nothing like performing. Because they become Bhakths by default of the 2 men army of BJp. They just obey orders and give absurd statements to please their masters. And the master becomes happy and gives silent approvals to the rubbish statements.
You can see that all the ministers are for name sake only. Srimanji is always in flight mode and doing all the works alone for them. Better dissolve all the ministries to support the Srimanji's slogan of Minimum government, maximum governance.
