BJP to Rahul: We passed Rafale exam. Now take Agusta test with Uncle Christian

New Delhi, Jan 3 (IT): Rahul Gandhi let Prime Minister Narendra Modi see some "exam questions" in advance last night. Say what? It was just an expression: the Congress boss was informing his Twitter followers that his party would bring up the contentious NDA deal for French Rafale jets in Parliament (again). Meanwhile, the BJP thinks it's Gandhi who needs to take an exam on a defence deal.

AgustaWestland

GVL Narasimha Rao, a Rajya Sabha MP (and a BJP spokesperson), said the Modi government passed the Rafale test "with distinction". He then returned Rahul Gandhi's fire in his Twitter reply.

It was time, Rao said, for Gandhi to sit with UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and "Uncle Christian Michel" in an exam. "AK Antony [a former defence minister] agreed in Parliament that bribes were paid in the AgustaWestland deal. Time for you reveal who got how much of the loot!" he said.

Christian Michel, an alleged middleman in the AgustaWestland case, was recently extradited to India. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has claimed that Michel spoke about the "son of an Italian lady" and took "Mrs Gandhi's" name in reference to a query. (These are claims made by ED officials. They need to be ascertained before a court of law.)

Yesterday Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley raked up the AgustaWestland case along with two others -- Bofors and National Herald -- to tear into Rahul Gandhi's family in Parliament. He quoted, with a slight modification, a line from a James Bond movie:

"If it is once, it's happenstance, it can happen. If it is twice, it is a coincidence. And if it is thrice, it's a conspiracy."

The UPA were ready for a JPC probe in the Agusta Westland VVIP Helicopter deal although they had a thin majority in the Lok Sabha. But the BJP, despite having a brute majority in the Lok Sabha is not ready for a JPC on the Rafale deal.
The chairman of the JPC will be from the BJP. A majority of the members of the JPC will be from the BJP because it has a majority on its own in the Lok Sabha. During our UPA Government; the decisions to blacklist six companies, very powerful companies in the world, one American Company, one German Company, one Israeli Company, one Russian Company, one Singaporean Company and one Indian Company. Our Government showed the courage of conviction and commitment to fight against corruption.
The BJP will only pass if PM Modi answers to a one-on-one debate on Rafale. The result can't be given on 'sealed envelope' just like without invigilating the answer papers.
For the BJP and PM Modi getting a degree may be easy without attending the college. But Defence is India's national asset on which country interest is safeguarded.
Let BJP should also answer why did 'blacklisted' Augusta Westland is allowed to bid during Prime Minister Modi tenure in the center?
How did former CM Raman Singh government need to open a bank account in his son name in Caribean country for the inflated rate to purchase the same type of helicopters from this company?

If BJP has passed the Rafale Test, then why is it scared of the JPC Exam. If the BJP had nothing to hide then they would have readily agreed for a JPC Probe, would not have relieved the CBI Chief in a mid night operation. Obviously they have more to hide and much to loose as their Mascot is involved.

This is the same Rao who wrote a book on EVM machines while BJP was in the opposition and made a perfect U turn when they got power. Likes to keep changing his lungi every now and then.
Remember that the Supreme court passed its judgement on the false declarations made by the Modi Government. Review petitions have now been filed on that judgement. Secondly the Supreme court in its judgement has not given a clean chit to the government, it has only said that the Supreme court is not the competent authority to pass judgment or comment on this deal. It is for the Parliament to look into it.

If you passed the exam what makes Modi to hide in his room ??? Rahul asking for 10 minutes one to one debate and Modi is worried to come out of rat hole!!!!

BJP is caught in double trap (1) Rafale (2) Christian Michael

    (1) Gives them sleepless nights unless they agree for JPC. Once JPC is set up, BJP is going to bleed because they have no answer for Mr. AA's eligibility for assembling the units

    (2) Will be a waste of money that is incurred in protecting Christian. Because in the end its going to be established that 'The Family' is the Thyagis. Whoever it may be, they are accountable. But BJP wants to prove that 'The Family' is the Ghandis which they will never succeed because the kick-back is not a small amount. They have to assemble penny-by-penny to make such a huge heap which is impossible because the Ghandhis may have already kept their account ready for scrutiny.

Scratch your head BJP, pluck any hair that is left on Jaitley's head.

No Sir, BJP objected to RG's request to play it. A condition was put that he authenticates the tape before playing and if it proved not be doctored, RG loses his right to appear in the Parliament. BJP wants this precisely because the very man whom they dubbed PAPPU has become a bone in their broth.

RG won't mind authenticating but is well aware of BJP's gimmicks - haven't the nation see the SC giving verdict about Rafale based on a small note scribbled PAC but the PAC never happened ? BJP will doctor the existing voice to make it fake and then RG will be out of the House. Do you guys think the opposition is made of fools ?

All are watching the game BJP is playing - May 2014 is not the last elections to have happened in India's history.

Please do not mislead people, the fact is that the tape was recorded in a studio belonging to the congress MLA in goa and if he had authenticated the doctored tape he would be debarred from the parliamentary procedures not the other way round as you stated, new year has started do not just post anything which suits you

First prove whether its Uncle Christian, or Uncle Thyagi whom you are covering up and giving indication that 'The Family' is the Ghandhis.

Secondly, passing Rafale is your assumption. Refusing JPC itself is your failure.
