People who feel unsafe in India should be bombed, says BJP MLA

New Delhi, Jan 4 (IT): Days after veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah’s comment on intolerance in India erupted into a full-blown controversy, a BJP MLA from Muzaffarnagar has said people who feel threatened and unsafe in India should be bombed.

BJP MLA Vikram Saini said, "My personal view is that those who say they feel unsafe and threatened in India should be bombed. Give me a ministry and I will bomb all such people; not even one will be spared."

The BJP MLA, without naming Shah, slammed people who complain about intolerance in India and said that he will bomb such people himself.

Last month, Shah was embroiled in a controversy after he expressed concern over safety of citizens in the country. He also said that he fears for his children in the "India of today" following a brutal incident of mob violence in Bulandshahr.

    What an irresponsible statement. No Indian felt unsafe until recently in our own country. Religion, religious division, Sentiments towards our Religious practices, concerns about what we eat, drink & what we wear - all these issues are recent developments in our country. So who is responsible for these is a Million Dollar question. !!
    So if we start bombing, we might witness another World War within India. Let us learn to be responsible citizens and let us learn to start thinking about Good Governance rather than these senseless statements. Each of us have a right to Live in our own country as Rightful Citizens and express our fear when we feel insecure.!!
