Mangaluru: MP Nalin meets Central minister over Kudroli slaughterhouse issue

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Jan 5: A delegation in the leadership of Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel met Central minister of state for food processing industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyothi in New Delhi over shifting of Kudroli slaughterhouse in city.

The delegation alleged that the amount received from the government under the Smart City project for Kudroli slaughterhouse is being misused in the name of renovation and requested the minister to take suitable decision.

The delegation said the Mangaluru City Corporation has already sent the proposal to the state government on shifting of the slaughterhouse.

Karnataka BJP co-convener of Gau Rakshana Prakosta, Vinay L Shetty and executive member Vijay Shetty were present.

Since Mangalore sitting MP Nalin Kumar is Kateel, why is not having a meeting with Union Minister for Roads and Transport Nitin Gadkari to speed up the 'Pumpwell flyover' stalled for years?

When Kudroli residence has no problem with the slaughterhouse, why the same facility is not given modernization under the 'Smart city' funds?

First built the alternative facility under your own constituency to the demand of citizens without affecting religious sentiments and then ask for closure.

When Prime Minister Modi's Gujarat can uninterpreted supply from 14 years having an office Opp. Sai Baba Temple Ghatlogya, Sattadhar Cross Rd, Ghatlodiya, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and operate a business from Rajkot only Indian city to export kosher food to Israel, why can't Mangalore slaughterhouse is a problem?

Mr. Nalin Kumar plans are similar to BJP Haryana government. In the Name of the Mother
the state nurtures the gau rakshaks of Haryana by allocating licenses of the slaughterhouse to 'Gau Rakshakas' who run the business of the seized cows from patrolling.

It should also be noted that most of the export is run by the crony capitalist who is religiously Hindus through BJP ruled the state of Maharastra and Gujarat. But sacred cow doesn't land up these days in Gulf countries but mostly goes to the China and Vietnam after Prime Minister signed the agreement who developed the taste for Indian meat.

This visit of sitting MP shows the priority prior to the Lok Sabha elections. Unfortunately, Mangalorean prefers to vote BJP for 'communal agenda' rather than 'development. This is the reason in last 25 years of BJP's ruling in the city since 1991 not even single investment came despite two of the elected MP's held cabinet portfolio.
Smart city needs 'smart people'. It is hard to materialize the smartness ignoring the choice of peoples basic needs. Slaughterhouse is the necessity just like fish diet.

Regarding the pumpwell, he has already met the ministers several times.
By the way, it was during the UPA that the pumpwell flyover contract was given.
To Whom? To jagmohan reddys company. He is the son of YSR reddy, close confidant of Sonia.
He got the contract when YSR was alive.

Now you can think for yourself.

    Dear Nalin Kumar Shetty Kateel,

We the District people wanted one each slaughter house in each Taluks.

    1) Sullia.
    2) Puttur.
    3) Bantwal.
    4) Belthangady.

PRESENTLY THE CATTLE MEAT PRICES ARE UN-REACHABLE AND SKYROCKETING.

KINDLY INFORM FOOD AND PROCESSING MINISTER TO STOP EXPORTING INDIAN CATTLE MEAT TO FOREIGNERS AND ACCOMPLISH / FULFIL THE NEEDS OF THE DOMESTIC / INDIAN CITIZENS.

I ALSO URGE D.C. OF S.K. DISTRICT TO OPEN ONE EACH CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSES IN ALL THE FOUR TALUKS OF S.K. DISTRICT.

PRESENTLY PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING FROM HEAVY TO HEAVY INCREASE OF MEAT PRICES IN THE DISTRICT OF UDUPI AND IN S.K. DISTRICT.

You had five years of congress government in karnataka.
did you tongues stop working then?
Did all of you forget about it?
Or siddu didnt listen to you at all?
Its a state issue. Even now, you have your govt.
lets see how you will get it done.

kateel was refering to the smart city fund, which is given by the central govt.

State govt can use thier fund and build slaughter houses.

Nalini Anna is the MP for all Mangalorean's,

Such MPs are responsible to take care of all common people who they represent, in central or state level.

Nalini works on a part time basis for COW related issues and then only god knows what he does in his spare time. Only new project statements in DC office once a year, for which there is no accountability at all and busy with how to BURN the district ideas, as quoted by him in protests.

Andh Bakhts will never realize ground reality and we hold them FULLY responsible where we are today and what is happening.

    Cheers.....

i remember former Indian captain, Mohd. Azharuddin walking for the toss during his final days as captain. He was very nervous as everyone knew that he was going to be thrown out. It was just a matter of when. He even said something like I'm playing better in the nets, or something like that.
The relevance here is there are other so many issues that need attention, like pumpwell flyover, other flyover, bad roads, erratic power supply. And Mr. Kateel chooses the abattoir. really bad.
