11 million jobs lost in 2018, but PM Modi still singing raag jumla: Rahul

New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI): Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday attacked Narendra Modi over reported job losses last year, saying the prime minister who had promised two crore jobs every year was still singing the “tune of rhetoric”.

Gandhi hit out at Modi citing a media report which claimed that the employment scenario turned bleak in the past year with almost 11 million Indians losing their jobs.

The report cited data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).

“Breaking! 1 crore 10 lakh jobs were lost in 2018. The prime minister, who promised two crore jobs to the youth every year, is still singing ‘Raag Jumla’ (tune of rhetoric),” Gandhi said in a Facebook post in Hindi.

“If Modi ji had worked for the country instead of helping Anil Ambani loot, then the future of the youth would not have been so insecure,” he added.

The Congress has accused the government of favouring Anil Ambani’s firm in the Rafale fighter aircraft deal. However, the government, as well as Ambani, have rejected all the allegations.

The Congress president had earlier attacked the prime minister over the condition of farmers, alleging that on one hand Modi is not waiving their loans and on the other he is giving a “license of loot” to his “suit-boot friends”.

This is the result of the mess created by Modi and his henchmen. The country is drifting aimlessly. High time the BJP is shunted out of the political scene to save our country.

Of Course, 11 million decent jobs are lost to create 11 million rowdies jobs by BJP who are in various BJP organisation. Because of this non revenue generating unprofitable endeavour by BJP country is not finding opportunities to create jobs. Businesses are dull, businessmen are facing losses and running away with default, banks are sinking, rupee is sinking against dollar, BJP govt in the centre now wants to steal money from RBI RESEVE Funds and bankrupt the country forever which never happened in 71 years of congress rule.

"Rahul your vote bankers should control population"
Why BJP is not saying a word or trying to bring some positive vision in the minds of middle class and rural people. India no one thinks in the benefit of people and the country. Only during congress rule (Sanjay Gandhi) tried or forcefully tried to Introduce some remedial measure (sterilization) and that issue became political and the down fall of congress.
BJP is only power hungry and trying to survive only on Hindutva oriented mental frame.

If you start waiving loans after loans ,how will jobs be created. You waive loans and then BJP Government follows. So basically India is only going downhill.Good Governance gives jobs.
Waiver is a lazy guys response. We do not need you to do it.

BJP is only power hungry and trying to survive only on Hindutva oriented mental frame. Nevertheless, some right wing communal activists are advising hindus to produce more than 5 children every household to counter muslim growing population.

Kumara; none of the world leaders told their citizens that 2 crore jobs will be provided but India's PM said to the people of India to garner votes from innocent people. And please don't talk about job losses every where and when you're still hanging on to a job that's a difference when you have a job and other educated youth are jobless.
