Bengaluru, Jan 6: State pre-university education board has decided to hold preparatory exams for the students of second PU also from this year.

As no appreciable activity was noted in the preparatory exams that was conducted so far by the association of principals, the pre-university education department itself has decided to conduct the examination. It is decided to make use of the two sets of question papers of the two previous years in setting the question papers.

The department itself will prepare a very high standard question paper using the services of the experts in all subjects. The students will get a clear picture of the main examination due to the preparatory exam. This information was given by S R Umashankar, chief secretary of primary and high school education department.

In the midst of this, the association of principals has accused that the teaching of some subjects is not yet complete and the students are scared by giving the question papers of previous years.

From the coming year, there will be preparatory exams for students of SSLC also. This year the relaxation is given to the high school teachers' associaton, in order to get preparations done for the preparatory examinations.
