Budget session of Parliament likely from Jan 31


New Delhi, Jan 9 (IANS): The Budget Session of Parliament is likely to be held from January 31 to February 13 with the government slated to present the interim budget on February 1, informed sources said.

They said a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) was held on Wednesday to decide on the dates of the session.

However, there has been no official announcement.

The session will be held over a fortnight after the winter session of Parliament and will be the last session before general elections in April-May.
