9 injured in accident at Goa cement factory


Panaji, Jan 12 (IANS): Nine workers were injured, three of them seriously, after a boiler exploded in a cement factory in Tuem industrial estate in Goa on Saturday, authorities said.

The accident occurred in Pernem district, 25 km from here.

"The injured have been hospitalised. The cause of the accident is being probed," fire officer Namdev Parwar said.
