Soldier injured in sniper fire on LoC


Jammu, Jan 13 (IANS): A soldier was injured on Sunday in sniper fire from Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.

Defence Ministry sources said the incident took place in Keri area. "The soldier was flown to the Army Hospital for treatment," an official said.

Two days back, two soldiers including a Major were killed in a landmine explosion near the LoC in Nowshera area in the same district.
