Mangaluru, Jan 24: Chairman of Mandovi Motors Aroor Kishore Rao unveiled the 3rd generation big new Maruti Suzuki WagonR here at Mandovi Motors Private Limited at Hampankatta on Thursday, January 24.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said, "Customers have always encouraged us from the last 35 years of our existence and we expect the same from them in the future. There are many customers of Maruti Suzuki spread across the country.”
Area manager Maruti Suzuki India Limited Deepak Sharma said," Maruti Suzuki has been dominating the motor sector and the new Wagon R is bolder, wider with lot of features.”
HR Manager Rajesh Bhat welcomed the gathering; Soumya Rao proposed vote of thanks and RJ Kiran compered the programme.
Chief accountant Mandovi Motors B P Bhat, chief general manager Mandovi Motors Nerenki Pashwanath, AGM Mandovi Motors Shashidhara T Karanth, sales manager Kishan K Shetty and others were present.
Features of New Wagon R

In addition to the well proven 1.0L engine, the big new Wagon R comes with a stronger heart of 1.2 L engine that delivers powerful performance.
The big Wagon R offers effortless auto gear shift and manual gear shifts with an excellent fuel efficiency for both the engine options: 21.5km per litre for 1.2 L variant and 22.5 km/litre for 1.0 L variant which is nearly 10% higher than the outgoing model.
Wagon R promises enhanced safety for its occupants. Use of high tensile steel helps to improve overall safety, rigidity, noise, vibration and performance. Safety features including driver airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic break force distribution, front seat belts reminder, speed alert system and rear parking sensors are standard across variants. The all new Wagon R meets all applicable regulations including offset, side crash and pedestrian safety norms.
The Wagon R comes with smart play studio infotainment system. The smart play studio is a 17.78 cm touch infotainment system that combines smart phone, vehicle and cloud based services to offer a delightful driving experiences. Its interface is vibrant and customizable.
Wagon R is available in a wide range of vibrant colours like pearl poolside blue, pearl nutmeg brown, magma grey, pearl autumn orange, silky silver and superior white.
