Beltangady, Jan 25: In a collision that took place between a lorry and Honda Activa scooter here, the wheels of the lorry ran over the head of the scooter rider, crushing and killing him on the spot on Friday, January 25.
The incident happened near Koyyur Cross, Beltangady.
The deceased is identified as Bola Poyyegudde, Padangadi resident Chennappa Anchan (57).
The dead body is kept in Beltangady government hospital for postmortem.
