Bengaluru, Jan 26: The committee appointed by the Congress party to investigate the incident in which two legislators of the party had fought with each other at Eagleton Resort Bidadi resulting in the hospitalisation of one among them.

A committee headed by deputy chief minister, Dr G Parameshwara, with ministers, K J George and Krishna Byre Gowda as its members, had been formed to probe the issue and submit report. Although it has been a week since the incident happened, the committee has neither visited the resort where the fight happened, or the hospital where MLA, Anand Singh, is being treated, to get information from him in person.

In the meantime, Sharanappa, gunman of Ganesh, has claimed that Ganesh was not the first one to start the fight. He supported Ganesh's claim that Anand Singh tore off Ganesh's clothe and attacked him with bed lamp. He asserted that Ganesh was not at fault in the incident.
