Mangaluru: ‘Score Even More’ workshop held at Vikas PU College

Mangaluru, Feb 3: Vikas PU College conducted a workshop on ‘Score Even More’ for both SSLC students and parents on Saturday, February 2 on its campus here.

Dr Ananth Prabhu G, advisor, Vikas Edu Solutions, offered the students a variety of techniques to secure up to 15% more marks in their forthcoming SSLC examination and briefed students on time management, strategies to avoid common mistakes and ways to write effectively, different career options after the exams, and also informed about various scholarships available for the top scorers. In the special session for parents, Dr Manjula Rao., dean, Vikas Group of Institution, explained on effective parenting and how they have to take extra care of their children during the examination and also regarding the various opportunities in the future.

During the workshop, all the student participants provided with Career Path chart and five model question papers to help them in their board exams. Both the students and parents actively participated in the session and made the best use of the rare opportunity. Suguna Nayak HOD, Commerce department coordinated the programme.
