Bihar Man arrested for vulgar tweet against Priyanka Gandhi

Patna, Feb 5 (ABP) : A man was arrested in Bihar's Katihar district for posting a vulgar tweet against Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, police said on Monday.

Yogi Sanjay Nath was arrested following a complaint filed to the Bihar Cyber Crime Investigation Unit by social activist Shaheen Syed.

"We were directed to take action against Nath," Katihar town Station House Officer Ranjan Kumar said. Nath is a resident of Vinodpur.

This comes only days after Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi officially joined active politics and took charge of East Uttar Pradesh ahead of Lok Sabha elections.

Ever since her entry into active politics, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has faced a barrage of misogynistic attacks and sexist remarks from prominent politicians especially BJP leaders.

    When the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi's granddaughter like Priyanka Gandhi is abused, how the common women of this nation will remain safe?

    Ironically the best part of the incident is that nobody called those who shot at Gandhi’s effigy few days back as anti-nationals or terrorists.
    The culprit Hindu maha sabha leader pooja pandey called the "lady godse" openly praise godse and challenge she would shot Gandhi again if he had alive still absconding in U.P. Anyone could guess who will shelter her.
