Police detain Yasin Malik during protest


Srinagar, Feb 6 (IANS): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was detained by police on Wednesday during a protest march in Srinagar.

Malik came out of his party's Abi Guzar office along with dozens of his supporters to start a march seeking the release of political prisoners.

Police intercepted the march and took Malik into preventive custody.
